My oldest daughter often gets an idea in her head and absolutely will not let it go. About 4 months ago she decided she wanted to go camping. My husband loves this. He is VERY outdoorsy and LOVES to camp, hunt, fish, etc. I, since birth, have loathed roughing it. I don't mind a picnic or a stroll, but anyplace I can't get a bath on demand is not for me. Since she would not let up we had to do something. My twins are only 2 and I was not about to drag them out to the wild. So we set up camp in our backyard. It was really fun for the kids. My oldest enjoyed making "snores" out of marshmallows and the twins enjoyed dragging every pillow and blanket in our house out to the backyard tent.
