Boat Paddle Curtain Rod

I am attempting to transform my sons room from nursery to big boy room. Camping is our theme and so I had to do something about the curtain rod that was white tree leaves. So I bought two boat paddles, painted some stripes on them and zip tied them over the existing curtains. I put the zip ties over the stripes and then painted the zip ties to blend in. It turned out pretty cute for a five minute project. You can see another project for my son's room here.
