I watch a lot of DIY. No surprise there. A while back there was a show on DIY in the middle of the night that was called Embellish This. I watched most of the episodes and I tried a couple of the projects. By far, my favorite was this project called Ribbon Switch Plate. It is quick, different, cheap and makes a lot of impact. I have a lot of ribbon from scrapbooking so I just had to decide which ones to use. The covered plates have been up in my daughters room for about a year and have stood the test of time. As cheap as they are it would not be a big deal to replace them if needed.
