I made these for a friend. Her baby is due soon and she has a sports theme going on in his room. I got the baseball ideas here . My baseballs are pitiful in comparison. I was limited on time, my red was pale, and I had three munchkins at my ankles trying to put their fingers in it! I did not even try to do the stitching on the ball. Maybe next time. All that being said I think you could do this really easily with your children. They would get a real kick out of making baseballs and grass.
